The year is end...

Yea the year is about to end and yet another is about to begin. Lots of great things happened, I can only be thankful. As for us, the kids are really growing up so fast and the big brother is getting smarter and sillier everyday. He loves to play my online games and good at it, lol! He's also more observant and curious, especially with the television programs, he seem to copy stuff he sees. It's a good thing we have a direct TV, with its many channels available, we can choose which shows are good for the little ones. I like the educational programs designed for the kids. Plus, because it's direct TV service, the quality is far more detailed and clear. Am smiling every time I see the little man sing along the alphabet and count numbers.

Well, that's just an example of what direct TV packages has to offer. For the grown ups, we have hundreds of channels to enjoy. Sports, news, movies, international programs, all in high definition quality. I'm pretty sure lots of you out there is looking for great direct TV deals, isn't it? There's a really nice offering from a leading provider, it's like their gift for you this holidays so hurry up and avail it.

To all the moms, we rock! May we have a blessed and happy life forever with our loved ones!

Living Longer

What does it take to stay healthy and live longer? "A personality tendency to preserve a consistent mood that is largely free of psychological distress promotes physical health much more than exercise or eating habits do," says Dr. George Vaillant of Brigham and Women’s Hospital, in Boston. Vaillant’s contention is based on an ongoing study of over 230 men who were originally recruited in 1942. At age 52, the men who were in good health were divided into three groups: those considered to be "distressed" (they had abused alcohol, regularly used tranquilizers, or consulted a psychiatrist), "undistressed" (they had never abused alcohol, ingested mood-altering drugs, or consulted a psychiatrist), and "intermediate" (they were between the other two groups). At 75 years of age, "only 5 percent of the [undistressed] had died, compared to 25 percent of the intermediate group, and 38 percent of the distressed men," reports Science News. Certainly, maintaining a healthy diet and exercising regularly help to promote good health. But "longevity, at least for men, seems to depend on a penchant for emotional stability that wards off extreme pangs of depression," says Science News.

Beach wish!

Few more days to go and we're to welcome 2010 already. Looking back the things that happened to me this year, I say t'was great. Family life is beautiful everyday, with the kids growing up like weeds, ever adorable and cute. I can't ask for more really, wait, except for my one wish though. Actually it's quite simple, go to the beach that is. I've said about it all the time, that I missed the beach so much. And there's only one place I can think of, Myrtle Beach Resorts, it's the closest destination to us.

Oceanfront Myrtle beach resorts is no doubt the number 1 beach destination in America because of it's beauty, warmth, attractions, and of course the great deals available too. I heard that during this winter season, many loves to visit Myrtle since they have these great activities tourist can enjoy. It's like summer fun at winter time! So anyway just check out beach resorts Myrtle beach if you want to plan your escapade there. As for me, guess I wouldn't stop bugging the husband to take the family to the beach soon. It'll be great, winks!

OMG! this was me 5 years ago! I found this photo when i was checking on something and caught my attention haha. I was too skinny then when my fiance(husband) came to visit me. I just love this shot of me because of me so thin obviously am a.k.a slim "slash" sexy LOL compare me at present but am working on it though to loss some weight before we go back to PH one day soon. Am glad i found this picture because it gives me more motivation to make things possible that i will really gain my figure back or even just close to this!! I'll be strict and tough love on my self starting right now! So watch out girl friend! lol.

Had a little chat

With an old friend recently and it's nice to know that he's now a family man already. It's been decades since I've heard something from him and his family. Now he has too kids and we talked about life insurance rates. According to him, he's kinda like skeptical about it but told him that it does have lots of benefits. You know, it pays to be prepared especially now that he's already a dad. Well, nice hearing from you again old fellow, lol!

No way!

That's the famous word for Kurdapyo right now, every time we ask him something that he doesn't like or doesn't want to do he does say "No way, i don't like it", (w/matching funny tone) lol! at first we kinda wondering where he got these words till i found out that it's from Go Diego Go, haha! He'll be 3 years old in march and he know so many things already it is so funny to hear him talking alone every time he is playing at his computer or in his playing room or even with us. He asks his self and answers him self with all this neat and funny words i swear. This time he's fond of jigsaw puzzles and i am surprised and amazed by him i tell you he can play alone after the first time teaching him you know. Oh am just so proud of my lil kurdapyo with all my heart! Am sure all mothers are proud of their kiddos right! Winks!

Sail away!

Would you like travel in a cruise ship? Who wouldn't? Most of us probably consider it to be the ultimate vacation of a lifetime, something we longed for and dream about. The good news is there are now cheap cruises available, lots of great deals actually and you can search them online which makes it easier. With a little saving here and there, maybe soon you can pack your bags and sail away. This is something my mom's good friend experienced just this year. She and her family had a Caribbean cruise. They toured around Miami, Bahamas, and hopped by many other lovely spots. Their pictures painted so many words really, they surely had fun and unforgettable vacation.

I'm just wondering though, for people taking a cruise, what are their preparations for such trip? Is it the same with other vacations, like going to the beach or camping? From what I saw in the movies, cruise ships are often associated with parties, fireworks, shows, couples, and fun, fun, fun! Well I wish I can go for a cruise someday, with my loved ones of course. Who knows, as what I've said, it's getting affordable these days so it's not impossible anymore. What do you think?

It's Monday again time for MYM thingy, so heres my entry for the week! My son in a yellow wagon was taken last summer playing with his cousins. He truly loves outdoors fun well thats what kids do like! lol.

Girl power and Ski

I hate winter to be honest, but there's one thing I think would be impossible if not for this freezing cold weather and icy slopes. Ski, that is. I've never tried it though, and I don't think I can, lol! But many people especially during these season are off to their ski holidays. Since it's a group activity, as early as now, enthusiast across the world are starting to book already. They really want to participate and enjoy huh! But did you know that there's some kind of discrimination in this kind of sport? I'm talking about the Olympic Winter Games. It is the only activity that does not allow women to compete. But the fact is, women are very much capable of ski jumping, most of them even winning in international ski competitions.

Because of this, a petition is being raised to ask the International Olympic Committee to uphold the true spirit and intent of the Olympic Games to add women's ski jumping event for the coming 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Why not? I mean, it's a man's sport but ladies can definitely kick their butt don't they? Let's just hope for the best and watch the Olympics. By the way, let me ask, have you tried skiing? How does it felt like? I bet it's a total blast!

A mother is special.

She's as soft and graceful as a butterfly,

yet as strong and courageous as a grizzly bear.

Her heart is large enough to hold everyone's pain and joy.

Her hands are always gentle and soothing.

Her arms are always warm and tender.

She works hard to make a home feel like home,

and she strives to make life pleasant

and comfortable for those she loves.

She never fails to go that extra mile to

make the holidays happy and memorable.

Her job is the most difficult and

demanding ever known to any human being,

yet she's fully dedicated to the task.

She's always there for her family,

guiding them and keeping them safe from harm.

She owns a magical way to raise

spirits and make everything feel better.

And her sympathy, unselfishness

and forgiveness are unending.

All that anyone is or could ever hope to be

can be attributed to a mother.

She instills the teachings

that will last a lifetime.

She sows the seeds of virtue and morality,

and in the process, she opens up love

and vast horizons.

She's always watching and hoping that

her children's goals will have meaning.

She always listens and tries to understand

even when it's difficult to do so.

She's a true friend in every sense of the word.

She's noble and sublime,

and holds all the beauty of a golden day,

yet even during the storms,

she always shines bright like an evening star.

Her name should be honored well,

for she's the closest thing to God on earth.

It's all in the book

Soon we're to say hello to 2010 and hopes it'll be a great year for us and our loved ones. But before the year ends, there's something I really want to do and accomplish. Nothing big though, I just want to make photobooks. Having lots of pictures from the old times and still counting, if I don't sort things out, sooner or later I'll probably lost some of them. So when I bumped into Photo Productions website, well, they have just what I wanted.

I learned that they design premium photobooks for different occasions like weddings, anniversaries, kids parties, etc. They have lots of beautiful designs and concepts to choose from, and yet very affordable. It's like going to professional photographers without the costly charge. It'll be nice to have our wedding albums done by them, for our kids pictures too. Isn't it neat? If you want to have a photobook of your wedding album and other precious moments too, just visit their user-friendly website and browse along. Wheeee! Hope I can have one soon, lol!

Wanted: Cash!

Wise men say only fools rush in, but you can't help it, you fell in-love and go head over hills with something. You end up buying it, even if it's way too much of your budget. I'm pretty sure a lot of us has been in the same situation and the option we can think of is payday loans. More now because the holidays is fast approaching and many people want to spread love and give gifts. But let's face it, applying for a loan and getting that extra cash can be stressful and sometimes a little embarrassing. Well, not if you ask help from good creditors like Fast Wire Cash. I bumped into their website and I think they can help a lot of people needing emergency cash. Their service is fast and easy, you can get your funds for just 3 simple steps. Really, no hassle after all!

Hmmm.. I was thinking of ways to save money actually, because like you, I'm also drooling over those great bargains at the mall right now. I'm eying for that one gorgeous purse I saw over there and if I allow myself to fall in-love with it, I will be needing extra money for sure, lol!

Before and After! lol

~before~~after~
From long to shorter hair i finally convinced my husband to cut my hair shorter! I'm happy with the new look i've got right now i been in a long "slash" silky hair for 3years, lol! I just can't stand my long hair anymore so i decided to change a new hair style with bangs which is i believes it's the fabolous trends now a days so momshe juz going with the flaw. And the husband it self suggested to put some hightlights haha, why not for the better! So far so good. wink!

Build your world!

Having your own website brings a lot of benefits no doubt. It's like a door of so many opportunities and if you're serious in building and growing your world online, one great way to do so is through website builder. It is a tool, a complete package that helps you create a webpage and an online store that includes hosting, unlimited pages, SE submission, shopping cart, and more. In my part though, my websites or blogs serves as online diaries for me. Actually, I never thought that having a journal and writing my thoughts can be so cool. But apparently am enjoying every inch of it right now. It's like a door of so many opportunities being opened for me. I gained a lot of friendships through it, met many interesting people and learned new helpful stuff as well. And yes, I'm also earning good money due to having my own websites. That's not all there is! One thing I also like about it is that I get to keep all my precious things in one safe place. When you have your own site, all your pictures, journals, your interest, hobbies, collections, destinations, and the list goes on, all stored in one space. It'll be so nice to share it to friends and family, and even to the world. So if you're thinking of creating your own good spot in the Internet, don't think twice, start now and have a great time!

Mellow Yellow Monday #46

let it snow!

I used to dream of snow and winter when I was a kid. I imagined how nice it would be to play outside, throwing snow balls and making a snow man. That someday I'll learn how to ice skate and all that. But you know what? Right now, I totally had a changed of mind. I mean, I love watching snowflakes but I hate winter. Too cold for me, lol! It'll make me feel so lazy, sleepy, and the town is so boring, you all know what I mean.

But as an exception, winter months lets me experience one of the nicest things in life, fireplaces that is. I like the warmth it provides during colder months and the entire look of the house definitely changes when the fireplace is on. Very cozy and elegant. By the way, nowadays, there are different kinds of it already, not just the traditional looking ones. Electric fireplaces are getting famous especially to those who are living in smaller homes and have limited spaces. It also doesn't require a chimney and a gas line so it's simpler to use. There are also gas fireplaces, gel fuel fireplaces, or the classic wood fireplaces, it depends on your taste.

Sam's Club got all of these, I just gave them a visit actually. What about you? Do you like or dread winter???

Talk to your babies

Talking to babies for at least 30 minutes daily can measurably increase their intelligence and language skills. Researchers studied 140 nine-month-old babies. Parents of half the group were advised on how best to talk to their babies, while the other half received no suggestions to do so. After seven years "the average intelligence of the (talked-to) group was a year and three months ahead of the other group," and their language skills were "very significantly higher," states the report. Researchers believes that parents today talk less to their babies than in the past because of major changes in society. For instance, more mothers go out to work, and televisions and computers have replaced conversation in many homes.

Chit Chat with sissy!

While chatting sissy showed me some of the cloths and textiles mom bought recently. I was drooling! It's one of the things I missed back home. I mean going to the barter and see all the goods, not to mention the super low price and great deals, I wish we have it here! We do, but not quite the same. Anyway, before getting so jealous, might as well check out some life insurance rates. Someone's asking my opinion about it, asking if the ones online are better and more easier to apply. Got to go folks, see ya!

She's 7mo. old

My lil girl just turn 7 months old last week and time flew by so fast i couldn't believe she'll be a year old next year. All the time she's so wanting to play with her brother that's the reason why i guess Alexa is trying to learn things so early, at 3months she started lifting her body and can sit up at 4 mos. Then right now she's in the stage of trying to crawl and so eager to lift her butt up and knees. I bet sooner or later i guess by the age of 8 mos old she'll be crawling everywhere! Whew... that would be fun for momshe huuh! lol.

It's bad!

Invasion of privacy nowadays has become a sort of enjoyment for many. I mean, some people loves to sniff on other people's business and one common way is through hacking their personal online accounts. I wonder if those identity theft protection services also applies to hacking. Well, bottom line is, to spy on someone is bad especially if the motive is to destroy the person involve. What do you think?

Oh man!

I burned my thing in the stove! lol. I'm making sweet banana with rice and tapioca in short ginataan... a minute ago and just smell the burning aroma, what a mess been craving filipino food lately and found out this will goes to waste! my bad now can not have my ginataan anymore :-(. The banana that i got at the asian store went byebye in the sink!! grrrrrrrrr.

Cleaning!

I was cleaning my kitchen and the rest of the house yesterday that i noticed we need to replace our water filters and filter for heat and air i noticed it's dirty already particularly the heat/air filter. I guess that's the reason why kiddos an I sneezes every now and then because of the dust getting in the filter. Oh well i mentioned to the husband already and he will change it later after work.

Promised!

I promised to my self to cut back my using of fb, haha! I must admit since am in fb all the time i mean everyday, my blogging career is now forgotten! Fb is fun but am thinking if my blogging thingy is affecting it why should i let it happened right! We always have a choice and my choice is to learn how to shut off fb once in awhile and do the things that i use to do before, taking care of my blogs and stuff like that. And be in real world, lol! (still playing my games though).

Oh snow!

How's your week so far? Mine's pretty busy as always. Did a lot of chores today but glad to still find time to blog, make updates, and yes, to visit my online farm lol! On a second note, I'm looking for car accessories right now, snow grip in particular. You know, winter is here almost i can feel it and we need it for protection. Oh, speaking of winter, I hate it! I bet you feel the same way too. Yay!

Kurdapyo's new hobby,lol!

It is so amazing how kids right now are so mentally advance, right? I can't believe my son knows how to operate my computer without supervision, using the mouse in the right manner can even download games yikes! I learned another friend of mine her son is also doing the same thing, haha! Anyway, kurdapyo after figuring out the computers stuff, now he's in the cars and trucks not to mention remote control toys! Last night he was so happy we went to Radio Shack to get him this toy after he is done with his small RC white truck that we got him at Wal-mart not long ago that he just broke it, taking parts away...my goodness boys will be boys!

Something for the kids

As parents we always want to see our kids smiling, jolly, and happy. That's why, no matter how busy we are, we must find time to play with them and bond with them. And if our budget permits us, how we want to always give them presents am I right? Gifts need not be expensive or extravagant though. But I think it should be special and something unique.

Speaking of such, I know most of you out there especially mommies and daddies has been hunting for the perfect stuff to giveaway. And for that, you might wanna check out Lou Lou's Corner, the specialty boutique store for unique gifts, baby clothes, and toys. The little ones will surely love one of those quirky jellycat stuff animals. The truffles, snuffles and tots are so adorable and cute. This place indeed has the widest selection of unique products from top of the line brands like appaman, barefoot dreams, kikkerland, alex, and so much more!

Actually, their items are not just for kids but for grown ups as well. Like the barefoot dreams cozychic womens hoodie, I like it, lol! Does anyone want to give me this as present? Howdy all? Have a great weekend to come...winks!

My Fave Chocolate Ever!

Just 6 words : "my fave chocolate of all time" Although i love white chocolate as well anything with white choco. Once again thank you for this meme! We rules girls wink!

School days and Math!

Would you like to go back to school? Honestly I do. When I think of the good old school days and fun time with classmates and friends. I can't even believe am missing my terror teachers who seems to be monsters before, lol! I missed the feeling of being busy with school projects, exams, and activities. The times when I must wake up early or else am gonna be late. Well those were the days!

But you know, there's one thing I hate being a student. Yes, you guess it right. I hate dealing with math subjects and anything to do with numbers! For me it's the most complicated thing in the world. And I'm pretty sure a lot of students feel the same way as I do. The only difference is that nowadays there are math help available online. Such online math tutoring is very helpful to students, helping them get a better understanding in algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and so forth. This online math help can only be available through TutorVista. They provide a very affordable tutoring package anywhere you are in the world. So if you're still in school and having problems with Mathematics, this is probably the solution you've been praying for. Just visit their website to learn more.

The most common form of child abuse

"The woman's hands close around the baby's throat. Then she presses-slowly strangling the baby. The defenseless infant struggles. Just in time the woman relaxes her grip. The baby gasps for air but survives the assault. Before long, the woman grabs the tiny throat again, starting the torture all over. Again she lets go and leave the infant gasping..."

What you read just describes suffering like that experienced by an unborn child when abused by its smoking mother, says The New York Times. According to the studies, a mother who smokes regularly imposes a lifelong handicaps upon her child. It includes physical and mental dangers that may develop immediately or slowly. But really, how does a mother's smoking affects the unborn child? Imagine this, each cigarette puff introduces carbon monoxide and nicotine into the blood streams. Thus reduces the blood's ability to carry oxygen and constricts the blood vessels in the placenta. The unborn child is now deprived of its normal oxygen which can damage the brain of course. What about those pack-a-day smokers? When a mother smokes 20 cigarettes a day, that is a hundred puffs a day, having a pregnancy of 270 days, the mother subjects the fetus to atleast 27,000 chemical insults and abused. Those babies may grow up having behavorial problems, impaired reading, and metal retardation.

What a sad reality very common these days. As women, may we always put in mind that we have the gift of carrying life within us. And being a mother is the most beautiful and fulfilling thing there is in this world. May we not threaten the lives of the innocent ones. So if you're pregnant, stop smoking cause it's really bad.

Happy for them

One of the reasons why I stay online most of the time is because it's the only way I can reach my friends from other parts of the globe. I mean, if it wasn't for this stuff, I wouldn't know the latest going ons in their lives. And besides, I love to see their pictures every now and then. My friend from L.A just came back from their Bahamas vacation, I heard their planning to visit oahu hotels in Hawaii too sometime next year. Wow, I'm so happy for them. Can't wait to see her updates, winks!

Ever have a FluMist yet?

Well, last monday i took my kids to their pedia for their check ups and everything went well the parents always wanted to hear that they both growing healthy and strong. Anyway, my lil girl had a slight fever yesterday because of the 4 shots they give which is normal it said. Well talking about shots, my doctor which is their pedia as well really recommend us to get this FluMist thing for protection of the outgoing flu or the H1S1 flu virus. It is really advisable to children 2 years and up to have this, better safe than never right espeacially flu season is around the corner. So mothers out there if you haven't get any yet to your kiddos ask their pedia about it and they will enlighten you more about the FluMist protection.

Financial help during emergencies

Have you experienced being broke and out of budget? You know, when unexpected expenses just seem to sprout out of nowhere. And what about when emergency situations arise? Men, we know it can be stressful and really hard to handle isn't it? So in dealing with our finances, we need to be smart and wise.

But as what I've said, what about during emergencies? It can arise anytime and most often, we're not ready. So our only recourse most probably are emergency loans. I remember when my grandma had her eye operation 2 years ago. We didn't saw it coming because she was just complaining about her vision and stuff, nothing really serious. So when the doctor told us that she has to undergo an eye surgery, we needed to apply for a loan. It was a long process, good thing everything went well for us.

It was because we don't have an access to online creditors, unlike now, aid is literally just clicks away. Elastic for instance, proving true to their name, Elastic is the newest, more flexible way to borrow emergency cash. It'll help you stretch your budget until the next payday and the processing is super fast and easy. If you need cash badly, this is one site you should check out. Yes, I think so!

Lazy Today!

I can't describe how much i don't feel like doing stuff today! I just don't feel like it i know my lazy butt strikes again big time! I was being a couch potato most of the day i haven't done any chores beside attending the kids of course, i didn't even bother to check my blogs and even visit fb and do farmings at all, lol! I guess the weather is affecting me because it's been raining and so gloomy so my aura is as well gloomy! I hope tomorrow is a new start and i can accomplish all my chores. Oh well, mothers has its own moment also i guess momshe's moment is today.

Strollers for the kiddos

What are the things we love to do being a mom? On top of my list, shopping for my little ones! I'm pretty sure all the mothers out their share the same desire. Isn't it great when we shop for clothes, toys, etc. for our kids? Anyway, this time around I'm looking for some strollers. I don't need one though but I know a lot of friends who are expecting their babies soon. I hope they can read this so they'd know where to buy it, lol!

But before that, of course there are tons of strollers available, to find the right one can be difficult. So better if you read first about stroller reviews and guides. That includes finding a good brand, features and information regarding its dimension, weight, handling, and so forth. Another thing is the stroller safety, after all, it's something that carries our babies so we need to be sure. With these in mind, I found an online shop that caters everything and anything we need to know about strollers. Parents to be, you'll love it here! Why because aside from their widest selection of products, they will also provide you with info's and guides. Yay, for just a few clicks, you'll be very much ready to purchase the right stroller for your little bundle of joy! Winks!

Feel free to share, winks!

Smart Babies

Scientist are becoming more adept at determining the abilities of the newly born, leading to the recognition of the new-born baby as a "competent infant," reports The Times. Contrary to belief, babies are born with high degree of intelligence. Newborns quickly begin to make sense of what they say. One of the researchers, Dr. Alan Slater, of Exeter University, says: "Babies can learn about the world from the moment they are born. The new infant recognizes its mother and others by sight, sound, and smell. The evidence also points to a lot of learning in the womb. The magazine also notes that a number of international investigations are demonstrating that babies are not just a bundle of reflexes waiting to be fed and that at a very early age, infants can carry out a task by planning rather than trial and error.

Cars and automobiles

There are those hobbies and interest a guy just can't seem to say no. One of them is man's great love- cars! They love to take good care of their cars, spending much money for it to look sleek and beautiful. How can we blame them? It's an investment after all. And now a days, more and more women are falling in love with cars as well. I'm really not into vehicles actually, all I know is that they're used for transportation, lol! But I often see the husband working on our car, like the regular tune up, oil change, and car wash. Those are just the basics but it's a different thing when the automobile is messing up.

So am glad when I checked out RepairPal, a website dedicated in helping automobile enthusiast find the best car care online. What's nice about them is that they provide the most useful info when it comes to keeping cars in good shape, and they do this in much cheaper price. Want an estimate for an Acura Integra repairs, Chevrolet, Audi, Toyota, Volva? They have it all. They can also help you find a shop in different locations such as the Houston auto repair and many others. Feel free to check on them. I will share this to the husband, we might need their service one day.

Take the lead!

They say that when love and skill works together, you can expect nothing less than masterpiece. True in the case of work, education, and relationship isn't it? An employee for examples wants to get a promotion, or a manager aims for a higher position. He or she need to perform well and develop the passion and skill of a true leader. How they do it? Through schooling and taking up Masters in organizational development. And this is what the Gonzaga University Online provides. Their curriculum will equip aspiring ones the tools needed to lead any organization and job. Just check out the site to know more of what they have to offer. Winks!

How charities raise funds?

There are many nice things about blogging, one of which is the information, the many news and reports I get to know whenever I'm doing my blogging routines. For instance the number of natural disasters has been hitting different countries around the globe. We read reports about typhoons and earthquakes and the victims of course. And also we know about those people and charities coming to their aid. But have you ever wondered how such individuals and organizations get their financial funds?

One way they do so is through fund-raising projects. But accordingly, smaller charities do not always have the means to gain permits for large fund-raising events. So what do they do in order for them to continue their mission? Well, they participate in online bingo games. This option has been a great way for them to get the funds and support they need as well as interact with their growing community. But recently, a law called SB 1369 prevents any of these Bingo for Charity to raise funds. Which means charities will solely depend on old fashioned games that will eventually cause them to suffer. Maybe the ones responsible for this bill doesn't realize the need to allow charities to play bingo to raise money.

Oh well, let's just wait for the updates of this recent news and see what happens next.

Watching news through direct TV

Chatting with my family back home has been a day to day routine for me so I'm pretty much aware of everything that's happening over there. It's so sad to know about the recent typhoon that severely hit the Philippines. Although my hometown is very much faraway from the affected areas but still I monitor the news. Aside from the regular chatting with them, I also make sure to watch the news channels and international updates.

Well good thing we have an access to direct TV. Compared to the regular cable providers you know, directv has all the features and channels we've always wanted. And since am becoming a news hound these past few days, I get to watch the latest and the hottest updates that's happening across the world. DirectTV also provides high-definition programmings and of course we know nothing can beat that feature! If you want more distinct and detailed picture and great sound quality, plus the hundreds of channels local and international, you simply can't settle without a sat TV.

As for me, I'll be monitoring the news every now and then. Oh not just the news but also the other shows that really entertains me.

Howdy everybody

Good morning everybody! its me mom she, well duh of course... haha! Anyway i just wanted to start my morning by greeting you all a wonderful yet wet morning. I thought we are done with wet days for now but again although is not that hard rain but it is pretty yucky to go out and cold too! Fall is really here now i can feel the cold breeze, I'm not really looking forward for the change of seasons especially the winter time ughhhh! It's gonna be freezing again here lots of layering again, haha! Oh well enough complaining here, once again have a good day ahead.

Need traffic?

Having multiple blogs is not easy, not easy to update, maintain, and of course build traffic. At first it doesn't seem complicated but believe me, it's hard. You really have to learn all the highways of on line marketing if you want to succeed. And one great way to do so is through directory submission. It'll help you build links as well as SEO. Why not try it? It helped me a lot even i get busy with other thing yet despite i still have traffics, give it a try maybe it can help you too.

He knows more than u know!

Am talking about Kurdapyo! at 2 and half years old he now can operate computer all alone believe it or not he knows how to play games like that in the screen where in you hunt stuff to match the given words or things haha sounds like i don't even know what to call that game! Anyway, as he turn on my desktop he knows where to click them my goodness now i have to put a gate in order for him not to be in the computer all the time. He invaded my office... sigh! I don't want him to be expose on this things yet you know kids now a days! But am glad he is smart i guess he'll be a computer geek one day! LOL.

Oh boy!

The little man is really grown up now. I mean he's just 2 years old but as early as now he wants to sleep alone in his bedroom. He looks so cute sleeping independently in his mattress with all the blanket and the pillows on the floor, lol! I'm just so glad to have a son like him, cute and adorable, I couldn't ask for more. Winks!

Checking on it

I was browsing for some insurance leads article and I found many helpful tips and nice services really. The life insurance lead in particular is beneficial I think because it will help future clients to compare quotes, rates, and services in a fast and easy way. Anyway, might as well share this site to a friend. Am pretty sure they are considering to get one soon.

Cesarean Birth Record... Where?

I'm done with my household chores for today so momshe is in reading right now and i came across to this awake article about what country holds the record of Cesarean Delivery during pregnancy and the answer is that... according to Professor Carlos Antonio Montenegro of Rio de Janeiro Federal University, Brazil holds the record in Cesarean operations. I wonder why? hmm... In addition it stated that in private clinics, more than 50 percent of the women prefer an operation to giving natural birth. That is really something huh? Maybe mothers thought of less pains when under going CS section.

For a business to succeed

Have you ever wondered how the many small, medium, and giant businesses out there generate their sales and support their customers? The answer, call center outsourcing. Alright, some of the huge companies can establish their own call centers to market their product but if they are looking for low cost way to sell their goods and grant technical support, it's their best option to consider. See, that's how in demand call centers are these days.

First Words

Which babies learn language first—girls or boys? A report in the journal Developmental Psychology says that girls get in the first word. Contrary to some recent studies indicating that the sexes are equal on this score, Colombia University investigators found that baby girls were more advanced in what they call “mean length of utterance,” which they contend is a more accurate measure than previous testing techniques.

Something controversial

I was browsing online for the complete news about a 15 year old teen who cried blood here in the State of Tennessee. I recently heard about his rare condition and I wanted to know the entire story. I've read several articles already and some other news bits too. I must say there are really interesting happenings out there, informative stories and some are shocking as well. One of the shocking, well not really if we open our minds, was the revelation of the former Senator Bob Dole who admits he's taking the world famous impotence pill Viagra. Accordingly, when the news anchor asked his opinion about it, he answered with full confidence and sincerity saying, "it was a great drug." Adding that the public should know more about it especially the many men out there who suffer from impotence which really affects their personal life.

His words are true. It's really devastating for the men of our lives to suffer such kind of condition. And perhaps the controversial blue pill is the answer so maybe we should open our minds even more and talk about the topic. In fact the Senator is not the only famous person who openly talked about it, Rush Limbaugh was once detained when authorities found a bottle of the drug inside his luggage while on vacation. And I was surprise Enrique Iglesias though still young also had this medication. Maybe right now the access to such drug has become easier, there are even Viagra online available today. However, according to the article, it's not like anyone can purchase it right away. Since it's a prescription drug, detailed consultation on line is required.

Anyway, those were the latest buzz I learned here in the Internet. How about you?

Death Sentence before Birth

According to a danish heart specialist concerned with the deaths of people in their early 20's from heart disease investigated a possible cause. She found that infants born to smoking mothers already have in their blood vessels signs of the lesions and clogging associated with heart disease, while those born to nonsmoking mothers do not. In her studies at the University of Copenhagen, she also found the damage to be the worst among the babies of women who smoked the most. Research also indicates that even if a smoker stops smoking during her pregnancy, her child will still be born with some vessel damage that can develop as the youngster grows.

So see how doctors urged to women not to drink alcohol and smoke during their pregnancy or when they are pregnant because all the bad impact will goes to their unborn baby. I encourage to those who are pregnant or maybe pregnant and those who want a kids in the future... please take care of your self don't smoke or stop smoking if it's not too late yet just think of the little ones you will have.

The newest must-have!

Who among us here doesn't love fashion? I'm pretty sure most of us do have his or her own fashion statement and style isn't it? Especially for the ladies out there, it can be a really big deal. Most often they look up to celebrities like Audrey Hepburn, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, and many others as fashion icons and why not? Their smart, sophisticated look is really admiring. Right now however, there's one woman who caught the eyes of many because of her confidence, style and grace. She's no other than the first lady herself, Michelle Obama. Hey, have you seen her latest haircut? How about the way she dresses up? No doubt it captured the heart of many that's why she's now labeled as the newest trend setter by famous magazines like the US News & World Report and Time Magazine.

But of course we don't have to be a celebrity to look amazing. It's something we owe to ourselves and the good news is that right now, we can possibly get the look of a real trend setter. How? Through this new Hollywood obsession called Toy Watch no less! Those over-sized, large watch faces are the latest Hollywood craze and people are raving about it. The watches we often see at the covers of glossy magazines, that's it! Though it's so beautiful and stylish, it's still amazingly affordable because it's made up of lightweight plastic. I bet Toy Watch will most likely be a big fashion hit this fall and the seasons to come.

I know you want to have these anti-luxury watches soon, I do too lol! Anyway, you can check out more about this must-have thingy and totally feel like a celebrity!

Teach them in an early age

It is a good idea to engage your kids in different activities in their early age so as they grow up more and more things they will be aware of and can able to handle things right and be independent youngsters. It's hard to imagine how time passes by so fast they grow and wanted to learn even more each day everything to them is adventure, curiosity is the best word to described to the toddlers mind right? I have a two years old toddler boy and as you know as part time blogger we deal with computers, the moment i sit in my chair there he goes behind me! He wanted to takeover the seat good thing i have couple computers(one without Internet) and my laptop where i do my blogging thingy. So anyhow to make the long story short he knows how to play puzzle games because i have some in my desktop so while am working momshe is letting him play, haha smart isn't it? In bright side not only he won't destruct me he's also learning things you know! I mentioned here that he can hold the mouse perfectly and recognized things on that puzzle game but once in awhile he will ask for hep hep(help) cute...lol! I can't believe he now knows to operate my computer! pheww...

So anyway bloggers mommies out there if you think your kiddos wanted to over take you or trying to mess up your work why not teach them to use it right instead. I trust my son even am not around with him but just to make sure no Internet connection you know lots of bad things out there! Winks!

I need one!

Was checking on some documents here in my laptop and I have to admit that the files here are too much already. From pictures to downloads, to mp3's and videos. I really need to back-up all these files and put it in one safe device. Might as well grab a new USB soon. The one I have here has a lower memory than the ones now available in the market. What's even better is that there are now custom flash drives and Custom jump drive and all in very cheap prices. I want the USB flash mp3 player, so cool! I got to tell husband about this later on, he is more into this stuff you know! He is my personal and private tech...wink!

Help on getting out of debt

Everyday we joggle on lots of things and try to manage them as good as we can. But sometimes things doesn't happen the way we want it to be right? For example when it comes to finances, most of the time we find ourselves getting into debts. No wonder it has become like a way of life to many around the world. The sad thing though is that sinking into excessive debt is way more easier than getting out of it. I remember before when me and my siblings were still going to school. I knew how hard that was for my parents. Tuition fees here and there, not to mention the never-ending school projects and requirements. Now I'm a parent myself and sooner or later we have to deal with problems such as these.

The good news is, now we can ask for assistance on debt consolidation and management in a fast and easy way. Consolidated Credit, a debt consolidation company provides the much needed help to solve money problems and even end financial crises. The first step is so easy. Just visit their website and get a free debt consultation and you'll be on your way to lower your monthly bills, avoid bankruptcy, and reduce interest rates. Browse through their money management page and see their many options for employment, golden years, college debt guide, travel, military, and many more!

It may be hard to get out of debt, but with their help, it's not to late to start. Check out their website to know more!

Authoritative Parents

Parents who are not harshly punitive, but who set firm boundaries and stick to them, are significantly more likely to produce children who are high achievers and who get along well with others," states U.S News & World Report. Such parents are termed "authoritative" ("do it for this reason") rather than "authoritarian" ("do it because I'm the parent") and "permissive" ("do whatever you want"), disciplinary styles that produced children with behavioral traits that were marked differently. The studies which spanned two decades, showed that authoritative parents were more likely to have children who were stable, contented, self-controlled, and self-reliant, and who were less likely to experiment with drugs. Authoritative parents are not bossy, they make it their business to know their children, how they're doing in school and who their friends are. Their control reflects a high level of commitment to the child, and they are not afraid to confront the child.

I'm blessed to have such authoritative parents. As what the report says above, they are the parents who truly care for their children's well-being by instilling in them proper values the right way. They are firm and uncompromising with their discipline. Thanks to them I grew up the way they want me too! Now, as parent myself, it's hard to raise up a kid, that's what me and the husband learned. But we'll do our best to be "authoritative parents," not feared though, but respected and trusted by the kids.

Need cash?

They say that money makes the world go round. From the moment we wake up to the time we go to bed, we're using money to help us go through the day. We sometimes need to work double time to cope up with bills and expenses that comes our way. But of course the most important things in life doesn't come close to money or material possessions, happiness does not depend on it. Yet we need cash and that's a fact. Especially if we already have our own family, we want to provide for their needs and live a good life. But what if unexpected things happen? A family member got sick maybe or loses job, those are possibilities isn't it? Well thankfully there's a help available for us and it's just a few clicks away! I'm talking about PayDayOne, the leading provider of pay day loans and cash advance over the Internet ever since 2002. Their main goal is to aid individuals when they need extra cash to pay bills, unexpected expenses and the things alike. What separates them from other lenders is that they guarantee low cost of terms, 24 hour turnaround, and fast and easy application process. In fact, when you apply for a loan today, whether it's a hundred or a thousand dollars loan, you're pretty sure to have it in your bank account as soon as tomorrow. Even more to it is that it's the only lender that is State licensed so great rates is always guaranteed. And their services doesn't end there, they still got a lot to offer. So why not visit their website now and see how they can help you.

And if you find their service helpful, spread the word. Just like what other customers did. You can actually view their testimonies below, let's see what they have to say.

There are some that I like to include such as the inflatable chair sissy loves to have. And of course the acne treatment I promised my cousin. I'm still looking for the best one though, I mean there are lots of products in the market today and it's good to have the most effective and safest one possible. Seafood Paella for last night's supper!

What a nice surprise for me fixing PAELLA for the very first time honestly i dunno how to cook this! But i have no choice last night i craved so bad i can taste it just thinking about it and to make it worse timely i have seafoods in my fridge so i decided to make last night slowly but surely was so glad it came out so good! Am proud to my self actually, lol! I agree paellas are kinda complicated dish to prepare lots of things to gather and stages to follow but if you are persistence it's just so easy to make as long you know the step by step procedure and the flavor of course. Well, all you need are 1-1/2 cup of rice, 1/2 cup sweet rice( i thought it would be nice to mix the two together so the consistency will be sticky rice), 1 onion, 1 bell pepper, shredded chicken, chicken stock( boil chicken for an hour or two and keep the broth), half cup of fried calamari, half cup of cheese hotdogs, half cup of shrimp, cooking oil, garlic salt, salt/pepper to taste and yellow food coloring. Actually you can decide what to mix in your rice either seafood or meat or both which what i did.

Just suite the slice onions and bell pepper in a pot then season to taste, add the shredded chicken simmer for 5 minutes then add the rice stir it, then add the chicken broth mix it well add the food color(yellow). The exciting part is preheat your oven in 375 degree and place the baking pot for 35minutes till the rice cook. After take it out then mix the seafood and hotdogs then bake another 5minutes. Then walahhh Paella is ready to serve with spring onions! Wink

I noticed

I noticed lately that am gaining weight again i don't know why am watching my diet though but right now it's hard not to eat while fixing delicious meal everyday basically am the chef of husband and brother in law cooking their lunch. Actually momshe is so hectically busy here right now and being busy is not good not taking care of yourself you know, so for now i guess it's fine to gain weight a little and will just take diet diet pills later which i was planning to in the first place!

Meet the Robbins

Sissy has been bugging me a lot to register with a social networking site lately. She said it's way better compared to others and how easily we can get connected with friends and almost everyone else. Well I think I should give it a try so I registered. Anyway, this though isn't about it lol! I was just amazed how varied their apps and users are, I didn't even expect to see the Robbins Bros very own account. I'm pretty sure we all know about Robbins Brothers, the world's biggest engagement ring store. I first knew about them when I asked hubby where he bought the one he gave to me. Accordingly Robbins Bros was one of his options since it's very famous for helping couples in love find the engagement rings of their dreams. They also have a lot of great deals specially dedicated to their on line fans and customers. I mean, that's if you share about your most unforgettable date, you'd have a chance to win a free romantic dinner. They also have a bunch of proposal videos, watch them and you'll surely be head over heels. Oh well, thanks for this social site, now I can be updated with the latest treats and offers from the world's leader in jewelry store.

See ya everyone, got to go!

Meant to be

Did you ever feel close to someone,
in a way that you couldn’t explain?

A feeling so strong and clear,
that it made you want them near.

You know the feeling I speak of,
and I think you feel it too.

Sometimes it’s hard to speak,
and your knees grow very weak.

Your hands are sweaty and ready to hold,
in expectation of what will unfold.

Your heart skips a beat and shudders too,
it’s the sweetest love you ever knew.

How can this be ever true,
that it makes you love them through and through?

I’ll tell you the secret and don’t he misled,
because happy times are ahead.
This is what I know and see, that after all,
they are meant to be!

This is the poem that husband created not long before we met. And it published in a book for all poetic individuals around the world and he won for best poem of the month. I remember where that book is right now! I left it in my family back home haha! And one of the sweetest thing he told me is... that’s how he feel towards me when we started talking each other! I can't help but to be SO KILIG!! lol.

Did you know?

Lets go green by shopping online! Did you know that you can decrease your impact on the environment by shopping online? According to recent Green Study by Carnegie Mellon University's Green Design Institute they found that shopping online consumes less energy and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 35 percent compared to shopping at traditional retail stores. Because individual consumers drive by car from their homes to the retail store to pick up a product and then return home. Does make sense isn't it? For more info about this simple visit buy.com they have all the information we need to know!

Do you smoke?

I don't. My faith forbids me to do such kind of act. My family both sides mostly shares the same faith as well so I've never seen most of them tried smoking. But apparently cigarette smoking is famous the world over. In the year 2000, it has been reported that there are over 1.22 billion people practiced smoking. Accordingly, most of those who practiced it starts at the age 13-15 or even earlier. It is indeed hazardous for ones health and life. A major risk factor for heart attacks, lung cancer, strokes, pulmonary disease, and so forth. The the facts also shows that many premature death attributes to the use tobacco and other forms of cigarettes. But did you know that there's a certain method today that claims to be different among the others. Electronic cigarette, have the look and feel of classic cigarettes yet do not contain the harmful chemicals like tobacco, tar, carcinogens, carbon monoxide, etc. An alternative to tobacco smoking, e-cigarette is a battery-powered device that provides inhaled doses of nicotine by delivering a vaporized propylene glycol/nicotine solution. Many says it's the safest method so far. Perhaps those who practice smoking will be very curious about this new product. What do you think?
