Having acne problems?
Perhaps you have pimples and acne problems, we know it's something serious. With my experience, my brother and my cousin who used to have severe pimples before, they did everything to get rid off it, even spent hundreds of bucks. As for me, I didn't had such kinda issues, am so thankful for that. But every time a pimple shows off, I remember just doing one of those home acne remedies. Oatmeal or milk on my part do its wonders. Even avocados will work too. How about you? Which home remedy works for you? Those simple ways are often more effective than medications, isn't it?
Yummy Sunday 65: Eggpie with Tapioca pudding
Surely egg pie (custard cake)- is made of eggs and condense milk is one of my favorite dessert of all time. I remembered growing up, when my aunts or whoever in the family goes to town i beg them to buy me a slice of egg pie...haha! Anyway, i was craving for it the other day and timely i have the complete ingredients for it from ready made pie crust to eggs and milk perfect so i hastily fix one but this time i put a lil twist on it! Instead just a plain egg pie mix... i saw 4 tapioca pudding that it sits inside the fridge for quite awhile already so was thinking for a creamier and texture filling why not use it! Oh i tell you it is so good and yummylicious than ordinary egg pie recipe! Try it so you know what am saying about! Wink!
Stressed
I think am stress again lately. Stressed with people and their pointless drama, lol! I know that I shouldn't be affected because we can't dwell on the negative side and they're not worth it but sometimes I just can't help it. Anyway, might as well find the best multivitamin for myself. Haha! They say that certain vitamins can eliminate stress and let's you feel refresh, I need that now. Oh well, I shouldn't be thinking about them anymore. Time to move on and hoping everything's gonna be great, at the end of the day. By the way hows your weekend guys? let's live a stress-free weeks ahead!

Cool shopping place to homemakers
I'm just doing my usual online routine and checking updates in FB. Then saw this post about a friend whose inquiring on where to find bedsheets and comforters. She wants to have a lil bedroom makeover and knowing that the holidays are getting near, pretty much there's lot of great deals out there. I kinda like to know also so I click some links and there you go, I landed on 'Bedbathstore, better deals, better decor.' The company has been serving for 40 years, offering great pricing on curtains, bedding, quilts, bathroom accessories, ensembles and more. And to no surprise, right now they do have lots of discounted items perfect for those holiday shopping. My fave ones are the new bedding byTextrade. So homemakers out there, especially to my friend, keep this link in handy all the time, winks!

Prepping for Thanksgiving
Guest post written by Gina Finch
This Thanksgiving is going to be a big time commitment in the kitchen. Every year, our extended family picks a house to have Thanksgiving dinner at, and this year, itÕs my familyÕs turn to host. Our family is very large and it can be a very daunting task. However, everyone brings dishes we come together to help each other out during crunch time. This year, my two sisters and my very talented son, who is a professional chef, are all going to help me. The cooking itself wonÕt be too bad, but I still need to get the supplies and groceries.
Tomorrow, after I go into town to check out Hearing Aids Prices, I am going to stop at the local grocery store and start stocking up on a of the items that we need to make the main dishes happen. After that, I think IÕll head over to a superstore to pick up any extra accessories that we may need to make the place look festive. While itÕs going to be a lot of work, itÕs so rewarding to have the family together. I have a feeling itÕs going to be a very special occasion.

Sweet Thanksgiving treat
Guest post written by Betty Lee
I don't just have a sweet tooth. I always tell people that I have sweet teeth instead because I have to have some kind of sweet treat almost every day. I just love them so much! But people always assume that sweet things are desserts. I like incorporating a lot of sweet things into my meals every day. But I think that one of the really great times to do this is during Thanksgiving.
I was looking up sweet recipes for stuff to include in Thanksgiving this year when I ran across this website http://www.clearwirewimax4g.com/ adn read through it. I decided right after that that I was ready to switch over from my old internet company because I was so sick of it.
One thing that I know that I absolutely need to make is candied yams with marshmallows on top. They're my Thanksgiving favorite, for sure. I also found this really great honey glaze sauce to serve with ham, so I think that IÕm going to make some of that too. Plus, thereÕs always dessert too!

Winner & Loser
I can't help but nod to every word written in this email. In life, we're surrounded with winners and losers that's a fact. Now it's our choice which side to take sides.
The Winner is always part of the answer; The Loser is always part of the problem.
The Winner always has a program; The Loser always has an excuse.
The Winner says, “Let me do it for you”; The Loser says, “That is not my job.”
The Winner sees an answer for every problem; The Loser sees a problem for every answer.
The Winner says, “It may be difficult but it is possible”; The Loser says, “It may be possible but it is too difficult.”
When a Winner makes a mistake, he says, “I was wrong”; When a Loser makes a mistake, he says, “It wasn’t my fault.”
A Winner makes commitments; A Loser makes promises.
Winners have dreams; Losers have schemes.
Winners say, “I must do something”; Losers say, “Something must be done.”
Winners are a part of the team; Losers are apart from the team.
Winners see the gain; Losers see the pain.
Winners see possibilities; Losers see problems.
Winners believe in win-win; Losers believe for them to win someone has to lose.
Winners see the potential; Losers see the past.
Winners choose what they say; Losers say what they choose.
Winners use hard arguments but soft words; Losers use soft arguments but hard words.
Winners stand firm on values but compromise on petty things; Losers stand firm on petty things but compromise on values.
Winners follow the philosophy of empathy: “Don’t do to others what you would not want them to do to you”; Losers follow the philosophy, “Do it to others before they do it to you.”
Winners make it happen; Losers let it happen.
Winners plan and prepare to win.
The key word is preparation.

Log furniture are pretty
I've always thought so. Every time I see a house decorated with log furniture, I can't help but admire and just feel so relax and calm. Maybe because am a nature lover that's why I like such themes. So when I came across Jhe's, the real log furniture place, I went drooling, lol! Their cabin beds, bathroom vanities, desk and office furniture, fabrics and decor are so pretty. Just drop by their place and browse their selection and collections. One thing more, this kinda stuff makes me think of spa too. Now I wanna go to one, lol! Enjoy your week ahead everyone!
Blue Monday
It's my first time joining the Blue Monday meme, and it was my pleasure to join and be BM's follower! Here's my entry for this week. It is a weekend getaway spot for family or friends. Cabins by the lake, lots of boats and the Bluegill Grill, this though only opens from April to September when the temperature starts to get warm and hot. I tell yah this place is totally pack when summer time.

Are you in a diet?
Since I am, I find it quite interesting to visit diet pill forums and see what others got to say. Well, just curious if those products in the market now, that are so many, are indeed effective and safe. The thing am using now isn't actually from one of those websites, it's actually from a friend. She's been using it for quite some time and it really works. So nice of her to let me try it too. Now the same results happens to me as well, thanks to her lol! Anyway, how's your weekend so far? Us just came home from a long drive from the tiny town near the mountains. Twas fun but all we did was take pictures of the view. I wonder how many calories I burned with that activity? Haha!

On furniture
Just browsing here, nothing much to do. Came across a website that have such beautiful modern furniture! When it comes to it, I kinda have two things in mind. Modern and nature. Modern stuff are really chic and minimalist. It's like everything is neat, clean, and functional. Nature on the other hand is very cozy, relaxing, and an attitude itself. Oh well, we're not getting a new set soon but it's nice to stay updated with new products and designs. There are so many, I really like the black and red ones here, so Yovile, lol! How about you my friends? What's a pretty kind of furniture for you?
County Fair Time with the Church Kids
Authored by Abraham Brewer
I help the assistant pastor at my church run the youth kids group. Depending on the time of year, there is always something fun for us to do. During the gorgeous days of autumn, we have bonfires and visit nursing homes. In the winter time, we do various Christmas projects and practice for the Christmas play. In the spring months, we help the elderly with spring cleaning jobs. In the summer, the kids get really excited because we always go to the county fair. We usually are able to help the county officials bring in a good musical group that the kids will both enjoy and respect. We also set up a couple of booths and take turns manning them. One is to collect donations for homeless shelter, and the other is to sell all kinds of baked goodies to fellow fair-goers. The kids get to meet so many fun and interesting people this way, plus they learn how to give back to the community as well. Since we all take turns watching the booths, everyone gets their fair share of games and rides as well as fellowship with people from all over the surrounding towns. Even though we are tired by the end of the day, we all still look forward to going home and watching our BestChoiceTV. One of the local television channels spends a lot of time there and it's always fun to see if they caught us on film.

Looking @ The Sky on Friday
Took this at my country Philippines. This is one of the prestigious newly developed subdivision in my city. The security personnel didn't allow us to go inside, we supposed to window shopping just looking the nice houses. So anyway, since it is prohibited if you don't have a permit to go inside i just did what i want to do is taking pictures here and there which includes the beautiful bright sky!
The engagement
2 months ago we had our best trip ever to Philippines we had so much fun with my family and relatives. Another thing is my brother in-law went with us to meet the daughter of my mom's friend, things went well with them they both had the best time of their lives and it turn into the next level he proposed her in-front of us and her family during our resort getaway. Of-course it won't be complete without the ring right? It is one of the cubic zirconia engagement rings my brother in-law gave her. It is gorgeous and perfect for her. I am excited for both of them and wish them good luck on their new journey together. Am anticipating also whenever she gets here in states.

Not Always Good at the County Fair
Thanks for the guest post by Ruby Todd
The county fair is place that suffuses every adult with memories and nostalgia for childhood. The old ferris wheel where you took your first love, the carnival booths and merry go rounds and the wisps of cotton candy melting in your mouth. For me, however, the county fair is a place of nightmares and melancholy. This is where my first girlfriend dumped me, and I have never recovered, even after countless therapy sessions. In any case, the wife and children do not know this, and I must suck it up for their sake. I should not bias them against the horribly depressing atmosphere that is a county fair, because my experience is not homogeneous.
I take the kids across the fair and back, and they love it. All the while I am agonizing, remembering the time when she turned to me with that awkward look, that countenance that comes before the deliverance of bad news. Or so I thought, as she dumped me right then and there, and at the same time I missed one of the greatest finishes in football history. Thankfully this time around I can just DVR all my programs and when I get home I'm going to sit on the couch and watch directtv.

Preventitve winter measures
Guest post written by Steph Pearce
Even though it isn't even Halloween yet, it is definitely feeling nippy and cold outside, so I'm kind of scrambling to make sure that our house and all of us in it are really ready for this winter.
Last year it seems like the cold weather kind of snuck up on us and I had to start wearing my super thick winter coat at the drop of a hat. Also, our house was a little drafty all of a sudden which made it worse. We really just complained about it and didn't do anything about it until recently. Once the temperatures started dropping I couldn't take the thought of hearing everyone complain so I got the house fitted with some Chicago Sears windowsto keep away the draftiness.
Also, the windows just look so much better than they did! Our apartment isnÕt huge, so everything stands out a little bit more than if you were in a house, like some old and tired looking windows. But IÕm most glad that our apartment wonÕt be so drafty this year. As much as I like winter dressing, I donÕt like dressing like that inside my own apartment.

Who you gonna call?
If your home needs some professional cleaning and restoration in this case, who you gonna call? No other than the Steam Team. For residents of Austin and Dallas Texas, this company is the number 1 choice for all your cleaning needs and maintenance for more that 25 years already. They conduct residential and commercial flooring, upholstery, tile, and much more. Just browse through their website and get to find out more about their services. For instance, the residential dehumidifiers Austin is I think one of the nice thing to try because we all know that sometimes, no matter how much cleaning we do to our house, there are unfriendly odor that stay.
So anyway, some other services includes water damage wood floors Austin, non toxic carpet cleaners Austin, furniture and carpet cleaning, basement maintenance, paint-odor removal austin, tobacco odor removal and many many more. I have to check out if this is available here in our place too. Just in case we'll need some serious cleaning, lol!

Children who cannot communicate
Today's parent are spending less time talking to their children at mealtimes or reading them at bedtime than parenst of previous generations did. " Children are starting primary school with a speaking age of just 18 months and the number unable to form simple sentences is rising," reports The Times of London. In Britain, 18 per cent of children aged 5 (more than 100,000) fail to meet the expected level of speech for their age. Hence, many children who can not understand basic instructions or express their needs are like foreigners in the classroom, not able to understand what is going on.
So parents should sit and think about how we can help our children to better future. Always communicate to our children as much as we can and in anyway we can!
